The show follows a day in the life of Nancy, a little girl who loves everything Fancy and French. The series was developed by Jamie Mitchell and Krista Tucker. The show takes place in a fictionalized version of Plainfield, Ohio, where Nancy and her Family/Friends live together. The series premiered on July 13, 2018 in the United States, and on July 14, 2018 in Canada. Disney renewed the series for a second season prior to its premiere, which premiered on October 4, 2019 in the United States.
