When an unbearably adorable, eternally optimistic Quokka named Daisy wants to achieve the impossible – to win the annual ‘World’s Scariest Animal’ championship, she enlists the guidance of a washed-up, former champion, a grouchy Saltwater Crocodile, to help her achieve her dreams and prove that champions can come in all sizes. Frankie had always been a hero of the young Quokka Rock resident. His motto of never giving up on your dreams an inspiration to the “half-kangaroo, half-rat, crossed with a teddy bear”, even as her parents insist she should focus on the family tourism business of allowing visitors to take selfies with her. When Sanctuary City is announced as the host of the next World’s Scariest Animal competition, Daisy spies her chance at glory. To her amazement, her mother and father even buy her a ferry ticket to the big smoke, although not for the reasons she hoped. They want her to become the face of Quokka Rock, but she’d rather become famous for her athletic prowess. However, her plans to attend the qualifying trials for the event hit a snag when her promotional cart is stolen by a marauding group of drop bears. As she forlornly follows their trail into the wilderness, that’s when she stumbles across the inspiration that brought her there in the place.
