About Film:
After his house and all of his treasure are confiscated by the debt collector, thanks to his brother-in-law’s debt, Abah is very determined to withstand all of this by staying temporarily in a house in a remote village in West Java. It is his childhood house, inherited by his father. But then he loses his case in the court, hence his family are threatened to live in poverty forever. Abah then had to get use to his new economy status along with his little family: Emak, Euis who was stepping into adolescent and going to experience her first period as well as her first love, also Cemara/Ara who is a high-spirited child. They also have to face problems inside their own family which slowly shake the family’s principle: “the most valuable treasure is family.” From when I was a child, Keluarga Cemara is a role model for an ideal good family. I’m so excited when they finally made a movie about it! Even tho the story is simple and quite predictable, but the way they bring it surely can warm our heart. How a family can survived through the storm completed with cute scenes and jokes are def a good package to watch with your kids. The actors are playing their parts perfectly but my fav is “Ara’s” acting cause she’s so natural! Like the lyrics from the famous soundtrack: “Harta yang paling berharga adalah keluarga….” ,this movie will make you miss and loving your family even more. Recommended!!! Go watch it guys!!!
